The Story
When we visited the town of Yacya, in the region of Ancash, Peru, we saw many of our family female members wearing mantas covering their backs and shoulders.
Nowadays, newer generations have adopted wearing modern clothes, hats for sun protection but still wear elegantly a Peruvian Manta as a cape or shawl to protect from the cold weather.
