ABOUT PERUANITA
Hola, my name is Anamile Quispe and I am the founder of Mi Peruanita. I am a visual artist, business woman, mom and I love to explore new cultures. My family and I are originally from Lima, Peru where I grew up surrounded by artists since my childhood.
I currently reside in Mountain View, California and I am the happiest when I am using my hands to produce artwork. After living in the U.S. for over a decade, the artist inside of me could not rest quietly and was constantly dreaming about building her own business to showcase and design products with a touch of Latin America.
On July 2018, I officially launched my first product, Peruana Beach Bag was inspired by Elliot Tupac's designs (muralist and Peruvian typography). The goal of this design was to empower Peruvian women living in USA feel proud of celebrating their roots and give them a fun accessory to wear during the summer time.
Peruana is my first design collection focusing on fun, colorful and fashionable designs that can bring you a bit of Peru into your everyday lifestyle. There are many more countries in my design list to be launched...so stay tuned for more details!
Hola, mi nombre es Anamile Quispe y soy la fundadora de Mi Peruanita. Soy una artista visual, mujer de negocios, mamá y me encanta aprender de nuevas culturas. Mi familia y yo somos originalmente de Lima, Perú, donde crecí rodeada de artistas desde mi niñez.
Actualmente vivo en Mountain View, California, y soy la persona más feliz del mundo cuando uso mis manos para producir obras de arte. Después de vivir en los Estados Unidos por más de una década, la artista dentro de mí ya no podía quedarse tranquila y constantemente soñaba con el día en que pudiera crear su propio negocio para exhibir y diseñar productos con un toque de Latinoamérica.
En Julio del 2018, oficialmente lancé mi primer producto, la Peruana Beach Bag fue inspirada en los diseños de Elliot Tupac (muralista y tipografía peruana). El objetivo de este producto era darle a la mujer latina que vive en los Estados Unidos la oportunidad de sentirse orgullosa de celebrar sus raíces y al mismo tiempo tener algo divertido para usar durante el verano.
Peruana es mi primera colección enfocada en traerte diseños divertidos, coloridos y de moda para hacerte sentir como si tuvieras un pedacito de Peru en tu día a día. Hay muchos más países en mi lista de diseños que estaré lanzando...¡así que quédate atento para enterarte de más novedades!
